Discussion Leader- Direct the discussion. Generate questions for the group to discuss and keep the group focused and on task.
Scribe- Take notes. Summarize responses discussed by the group to provide answers on the discussion form.
Text Tracker- Find the text evidence. Each question and response should have 2 pieces of text evidence. Cite the best quotes from the text and include page numbers.
Research Director- Perform any necessary research. Does your group need to Google something or look up a definition? This is your job! Cite your source in the group's response.
Meet with your reading groups to discuss the final 6 chapters. Use the questions provided to direct your discussion. Collaborate to answer the questions completely and generate more open-ended questions for further discussion. Incorporate text evidence with page numbers into each answer! After initial grading, this will form half of your prep notes for the Socratic Circle discussion.
